The Foundation mission is to provide grants and gifts for charitable programs and organizations to encourage scientific, literary, recreational and educational activities throughout the Rockford community, including the encouragement of the arts.

The Foundation awards grants up to $5,000.00 to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt programs and organizations located in the greater Rockford area. Grants are accepted and awarded bi-annually:

• Grants will be accepted January 1 through May 31 of each year and awarded in July of each year
• Grants will be accepted July 1 through October 31 of each year and awarded in December of each year

The Foundation also offers two scholarships per year in the amount of $1,000 each to students who live in the greater Rockford area and have been accepted to colleges, universities, or programs to pursue higher education. Applications for scholarships are accepted January 1 through April 1.
